Food Pantry At Positive Impact Church

Positive Impact food pantry provides assistance to hurting families. We believe that in order to truly help people, it is paramount to understand the struggles they cope with each and every day. The indifference that plagues so many is a result of willful ignorance, and the first step to solving this problem should involve, at least in part, a shattering of this apathy. With this in mind, I decided to broaden my own understanding of our city’s poverty and set out to visit firsthand the neglected and impoverished areas of St. Petersburg. It was staggering to meet children that were going without nourishing food in their bodies. At first I was shocked and dishearten to look into the eyes of little children who were hungry. Then I realized we could do something about this, it only takes a heart. We started with a pickup truck buying food and delivering it to the at risk areas. Now our full pantry is open to ALL who are hungry.

Each child that comes to church gets a full brown bag of groceries to take home to help feed their family. We gave away over 60,000 lbs of fresh vegetables, fruit and meat to our local community last year.

We need your help! All you need is a big heart and hands to help out in either prayer, filing bags, picking up and stocking food from other organizations and cleanup.
