Jay and Kara’lynne both came from very fruitful and effective ministry families. Jay, son of Dr. Ray and Darlene Brubaker, founders of “God’s News Behind the News” worldwide TV and radio ministry. Where Jay’s father encouraged him to teach for many years, but he declined, preferring to work behind the scenes running from the spotlight as a young man. Jay has been a student of God’s Word for over 40 years and gives keen insight about it’s teachings. His depth of love and devotion for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is so evident. You will be moved and inspired as he reveals a true servant’s heart with his charismatic personality.

Kara’lynne daughter of Bennie Seeley and Mildred Cupp both incredible mentors of God’s love through His Word, music and God’s beautiful nature. Mildred founded “Champion Acres Lake and Campground” where families would come to enjoy the love of Jesus Christ in nature’s surroundings. They would join in camp meetings and gospel music concerts in the “Grand Ole Gospel Barn,” located beside the lake on the campground where many stories of Jesus were told around campfires.

Kara’lynne was taught at a early age to love little children. Jay as a police office for more that 33 yrs knew firsthand that to change a city you had to make a positive impact on the children. Kara’lynne and Jay founded Positive Impact Worldwide in 2006, and have joined together in ministry to touch Saint Petersburg, FL, our nation and the world. Kara’lynne has developed her own approach to preaching.

Kara’lynne says that she chooses to focus more on the goodness of God and on living an obedient life rather than on sin. She says that she tries to teach Biblical principles in a simple way, emphasizing the power of love and a positive attitude. When asked why she does not focus more on sin, the devil and hell in detail, Kara’lynne stated: “When I grew up, the devil was a reason why my back was hurting or I had a bad day. We always blamed the devil. I think today when I say the enemy, I like to make it broader. Sometimes the enemy can be our thoughts or the enemy can be our own lack of discipline. I would rather say that God is a God of mercy. You’ve got to live an obedient life, but for every mistake you’ve made, there’s mercy there, and I believe we can do better.”

Jay and Kara’lynne’s heart is to see the lost discover Godʼs presence, and for every believer to walk in Godʼs power and fulfill Godʼs purpose for their lives.
