What We Believe
We believe that we were created by an awesome God who desires to have a personal relationship with each one of us. Sometimes the world around us gets so busy that we aren’t able to hear and see God working in our lives. At Positive Impact Church in St Petersburg, FL we create an opportunity for you to be still and escape from the world around you and re-connect with Jesus.
It starts with a genuine worship experience and spirit-filled teaching that you can use in your daily life. It then carries over to the small group setting, with members you can share experiences and grow together spiritually. We also believe that God calls us to serve and you will grow in your faith by finding your place to serve here at Positive Impact and in the St. Petersburg community.
What can I do?
CONNECT people to Jesus, … and together GROW and IMPACT others!
Do justice, show kindness, and live humbly with God. (Micah 6:8)
Explore life’s questions with open hearts and minds. Reach out to those with no hope. Lift up new generations of remarkable, far-reaching spiritual activists.
Help me CONNECT
It’s all about Jesus. We have several steps to discover what it means to follow Jesus. Attend our weekend service, Baptism class, New Membership class or simply talk to one of our ministers or key leaders. The are specially trained to help you understand what it means to have a relationship with Christ.
Help me GROW
It’s not just about praying one time in your life to receive Christ. It’s about living a life that is completely in step with Jesus and His Word. We grow as a church focusing on small groups. This process allows us to understand God’s Word, how He intends us to help each other, and to encourage each other as we walk together through life. Community is simply a way of living and learning. It’s how Jesus made His disciples.
Help me SERVE
“For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many.”- Jesus (Mark 10:45).
The greatest mark of being a Christian is the willingness to serve others and Jesus. Think for a second. The Creator of the world sought to serve others instead of being served…even to the point of dying! This isn’t about just doing some nice things to get God’s approval, but taking on our sins.
